About the Event
The Celebration of Lights is one of the premier holiday entertainment events in Northeast Wisconsin, providing joyful experiences to tens of thousands of people over its 42-night run. Highlights include:
- In 2006, 11,000 vehicles passed through the event
- The event includes live reindeer, camels, highlander sheep and Sicilian donkeys.
- Horse-drawn carriage rides are available
- WFRV TV Channel-5 will be on a live remote at the kickoff lighting celebration on opening night
- Over eight tons of food were collected in 2006 for area food pantries
- The Celebration includes a Christmas Gift Shop
- Santa will be in his workshop on the Celebration grounds for children to visit
