Special Events for 2008
Nights of the Torches
Returning for the second year, and expanded to two nights, the Night of the Torches, will be on December 13 and December 31, from 7:00 - 9:00 P.M. Come see hundreds of torches throughout the park and experience exploding roman candles against the winter sky.
Mid-Morning Kiwanis Chili Cookoff & Tasting
Saturday, December 6, 6:00 - 9:00 P.M. Come taste a variety of chili offered by area chefs. Vote for the People's Choice award, and watch celebrity chefs judge the tasting for a cash award and trophy. $5.00 per adult, and $3.00 for children under 13. Also serving beer, soda and hot chocolate.
Santa's Workshop
Children love to see Santa at his workshop, and parents love the professional photographs available for purchase. Santa will be in his workshop again this year from 5:30 - 8:30 P.M. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from November 29 - December 21, as well as December 2, 9 and 16.
Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides
For the fifth year, Carriages of Door County will provide one of the most exceptional ways to experience the Oshkosh Celebration of Lights. Three coach options are available for rides including Vis-a-Vis Carriage that seats four, limo Carriage that seats nine, and an Hotel Coach that seats sixteen
Carriage rides are a great gift. Pricing is based upon the type of coach, and includes your entrance into the Oshkosh Celebration of Lights. Reservations are recommended and can be made by calling Carriages of Door County.

Admission to the Celebration is complete free on the following nights, courtesy of the nightly sponsor. Even though admission is free, food donations are always welcome.
